Joel Osteen unwittingly reveals that Christians Also Worship a False God

I saw a sermon from Joel Osteen, was troubled by it, found it on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gCpF-3KgVJ4 and I commented "Excellent motivational speech. However, that's not Our Father you're talking-about. Oh, Our Father watches over it; but the deciding power is luck." Joel brings up the popular scripture "When he opens doors, no one will be able to close them; when he closes doors, no one will be able to open them." (Isaiah 22:22b) And goes on to talk about 'how people got where they are today despite being unable or unwilling to get there before.' But that happens with-or-without Our Father. Indicating that Joel-&-c. are not calling him 'God,' but instead they're assigning that name to "Their Luck."
