I like that it waters things for us. I like the clean, fresh air. I like to hear it hit a metal roof and I like that it can clean or rinse other things as well.

Like you I also like rain! Aside from the reasons you mentioned I like it when I am able to collect enough rain water to water my plants with therefore savings for my water bills. What I don't like when it rains is the flood that usually goes with it and the muddy streets that bring inconvenience to us all.

I love listening to the rain on the windows. It certainly is good sleeping weather. Of course, it's good for nature. Last time we were on holiday, we just sat in a lodge listening to the rain pound on the windows - that's a good old British summer for you
