My Japanese Lessons

Indonesia
March 9, 2021 7:52pm CST
I was in the middle of studying time, I came here after Japanese lessons, I had a headache, I couldn't even understand a word my sensei said without google translate. Online learning makes my Japanese word disappear little by little, it keeps going badly every day

@rakski Because I thought Japanese was easier than Mandarin, and I like anime too I thought I could handle this lesson, but I was wrong

What kinds of Japanese lessons are you doing right now? My kids are in virtual classes - I can understand how a language class would be difficult with online learning.

@nadiaausftr I know it is hard to "hear" a language sometimes, especially if a teacher talks too fast, or if what is said is too long and difficult. I know Japanese, but it is a bit rusty. I took Mandarin in college, and although I could speak and write it ok, I had a real difficult time listening to it and understanding what was said.

it's like my sensei had me listen to a conversation in Japanese and made me write it down and find the meaning

Japanese is very difficult to learn if no one speaks to you in the language, short sentences can be very long.

can you schedule your classes when you're feeling more rested or something so you can actually pay attention to what your professor is saying? where are you learning japanese?
