Doesn't matter. As long as they are healthy. As already said by one of the posters here. :)

I would prefer a boy as my first child. I am the eldest and how I wish I had a big brother I can go to. It would be nice to have someone always on the look out for you.
But of course, you don't always get what you want, you receive what is best according to the Supreme Being. So, if and when I have that first child, I would be happy whatever is given to me.

when i got pregnant the first time, my husband wanted to have a girl but we had a boy instead. i did not have any preference as long as the baby is healthy and cute and fortunately, my first baby was cute & healthy.

I have three little girls. My mother always said "Every man wants his first child to be a son, but it takes a daughter to make a daddy out of him." I think her point was when you have little girls you are more likely to be asked to have tea parties and tie ribbons. My husband rocks at things like that.
