Teenybopper movies have long ceased been fun since Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
But I had to check out Patrick Schwarzenegger and see if he could act.
Turned out the actor, scion to the hulky Arnold, actually could essay a role. Not much of a challenge but the budding wannabe passed smoothly as a high school antagonist in Moxie.
The movie is not the typical Friday night sleepover chick flick.
Moxie divulges the prevalent sexism that many a young girl had to go through in their adolescence. Often escaping complacent adults because of sheer indifference to girls crying for help.
Once again, let me not be a spoiler. The movie is a good watch even for oldies like me.
Yup, girls don't just wanna have fun. They want more to life than being cast into the sidelight.

Really? You'd probably fall asleep. But for the sake of the young female in your family, you need to watch.

It is a good watch especially for young girls. Mothers also. Just because they have important roles on their daughters' well being.
