It is a reality Americans would be in denial of. America has lost to the Chinese.
My Chinoy friends - pureblood Chinese Filipinos - had been boasting on automatic toilet seats and television that can be stacked in a closet in a compact dwelling unit, saying Chinese technology is superior to America's.
Oh well, I would have reprimanded my friends for divisiveness but it's their right to express their delight.
Then this clip came today, an affirmation of what my Chinoy friends had long been saying.
America better check what's happening.

That is the perception of the rest of the world - that China is for global domination.

Well, I would say China is catching up. In tech-area, China still fall behind in many key places, including but not limited to Operating System, CPU, material, etc. China is now the world factory, but not world's innovation center, for example, in a short few years, Tesla successfully launched rocket to the space, which China as a nation, spent a long time to achieve. Tesla still make state-of-the-art electric cars, China can't. iPhone still rock, Microsoft still rule.....this is now Pax Americana, it's not over yet.

So, what is stopping China from becoming like a Tesla? Perhaps China should stop copying and really build its own. China has the technology.

@eileenleyva that's a tough question, I think people are always lazy and willing to copy, until they can't.

I don't know. America is just going through a crisis, which is just worst. China hides a lot of problems from the public lol. I would only believed that if China produced an reversed engineered extraterristrial technology, something US has already done..sadly, probably cost them now trillions in debt.
