He turns 17 today

March 14th 2004 at 12:05am, I gave birth to a very healthy baby boy.
And the very first thing i heard from my sister who was assisting my OBG as a resident doctor was, “Your baby is so handsome!”
I took a look at Craig making sure i remember every single detail of his face just in case somebody would make a mistake and switch babies.
Last night, i was staring at him as he was sleeping and i thought that God blessed me with an amazing boy I never thought i deserved. He’s my everything.

Oh yes they do. Craig has a girlfriend already. And they’ve been dating for more than a year now. They started dating when he was 15. My son is a really good boyfriend. His father would usually tease him with other girls but no, he’s very loyal and committed to her. He’s the type of guy that would have a girlfriend with a mind set that it’s the right person that he’d marry someday. He doesn’t date for fun. That’s what i admire most about my son.

@DaddyEvil he really is a good kid. Even in school. i remember a few years back he wanted to watch a basketball game with his friends so they decided to cut class but he didn’t do it until he got an approval from us. He called us from school and told us he would cut class coz nothing important in class anyway to watch a game. I don’t know any other kid who would ask their parents they’d cut class!

@jstory07 Yes. He’s not asking much for his birthday or demands a celebration. What he wants is just good food with family. Isnt’ he a nice boy? I haven’t even asked what gift he would want to have. but i know him and he wold normally say, i have everything already. Which is true.

Thank you. He’s still sleeping and i’m at work. We’ll see each other at lunch time though. And I’ll be spending my whole afternoon with him. Unless his aunt asks him to go somewhere.

That is so true Judy and before I had Craig I had always wanted to be a mother and I had that fear than i might never pregnant. Back in my teens i would frequently dream of getting pregnant and having a baby boy. I thought it would just remain a dream no never come true. But it did. And i was very happy when i had Craig at 26.
