Yes of course, even though I don't agree with the latest economic stimulus bill as a whole, I had to check and see when I could expect my check. It will arrive on March 17th. Now that is a Happy St Patrick's Day present.
It was a quiet, cold, and very windy Sunday. I have been watching The Hotel Inspector for the last few hours after enjoying a few historic videos on YouTube. I did take a ride out to get some milk. I made the chicken dish with the grilled onion jam on it. It was very good.
I have more interesting meals that will arrive on Tuesday. I need to go out and buy some corned beef and cabbage for my St Patrick's Day dinner. Jack doesn't have school tomorrow so no home schooling.
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. I didn't have breakfast with Irene this week, I was just not feeling up for it. I am just a little off, I am not ured if it is the vaccine or I am not sleeping well, I am in bed and asleep but not feeling particularly rested.

So much overspending that has nothing to do with covid!! But we might as well enjoy it while we can before tax increases happen!!

@BelleStarr I had my 1st Pfizer dose on Friday. My shoulder is still a little sore, but it's not bad.

Right there with you. I think the real economic impact "statement" would have been to lift all restrictions and get people back to work. That also happens to be the best solution in my opinion. But I won't turn the money down even though I know I'll ultimately have to pay it all back.

@BelleStarr Two words. Higher taxes and inflation. Both are coming. One, inflation, may already he here. Have you seen gas prices and food prices. Things are going way, way up.
Of course, I have lots of thoughts on the "why" of both food and gas prices.

I would have given the stimulus to those who suffered a loss of income and taken care of small businesses and skipped the rest. If this is really a Covid bill maybe some for vaccines but so much of the last two bills hasn't been spent yet. You can check on the IRS site it will tell you when you will get your,s that is how I know.

We bought some corned beef and cabbage to make as well. I hope that the "off" feeling is just from the vaccine and will vanish quickly. Have a good week.

I'm looking forward to St. Patricks Day too. My daughter always makes Irish Soda bread and I look more forward to that than the corned beef and cabbage

I hope feeling better. My best friend got the vaccine Saturday and she said her back hurt and she was sleepy. Sunday I cleaned out one of my uncle's cabinets.
