Dinner cooked with Thermomix

Have you heard about Thermomix? I have heard it a few weeks ago. Thermomix seems a new way of cooking. It is a kind of cooking machine which weighs, chops, blends and cooks the ingredients of the food you are about to cook. It has a step by step way of cooking which has a built-in thermometer and touchscreen recipes. It sounds like a magic cooker for me. I have not seen the machine personally, yet but I have eaten the food made from this Thermomix yesterday. My son bought this expensive machine and he let us try what he had cooked. He brought us dinner last night which he had made from this machine. It was a kind of risotto rice, bell peppers filled with ground meat and a gravy. It was delicious. I wonder if this kind of cooking saves me a lot of work and time. I wonder too if it is worth the price as I have heard that it costs 1k €. Have you heard this kind of cooking machine? BTW, I have proclaimed that Sunday is my Mylot free day starting yesterday. I was not here yesterday and so I have a lot of notifications to attend to. Thanks for reading. See you in your posts later. Have a nice new week.

Thermomix are all the rage in Australia but, as you say, they are REALLY expensive. All the young yuppy Mums want one if they don't have them already.

That sounds like an interesting gadget to have. But I will have to research more on it and wait until the price comes down before I would consider buying one. I am glad you son has one or access to one and brought you some dinner from it.

Yes, it sounds like a perfect machine but I wouldn't buy that with that expensive price. I have an electric wok but I have not used it for months. I am still using the normal wok which I can put on the electric stove. Thank you @Nevena83

This is the first I have heard of this. I looked it up on YouTube and I think I would not want it. I like the simple stuff I make for myself and I rarely make anything that is complicated. This is probably a unit better suited for larger families.

My niece immediately bought it. I looked at it and I prefer to go with my traditional cooking methods. Those machines that pretend to do everything are not for me.

@LadyDuck Just the same with me. When I was in my house in the Philippines, I loved cooking in our kitchen where I cooked with firewoods. The taste of the food cooked by the firewoods are so delicious compared to cooked by an electric range.

Mylot free day seems like a great idea. I have to think about that! I have heard of the system there are some interesting new ways to save time in the kitchen now. I still like the old-fashioned cut it up myself model though.
