Omaha Beach

A few years ago now, I walked along Omaha Beach where Allied forces invest Europe on X-Ray. I was overcome by the experience, especially because I knew a man who was there for the attack and said that he felt lucky to have gotten through WW II without serious injury or death.

I will never fully understand what my parents went through during WW II and the DP Camps and all until they got to NYC
