Halloween prank

One year when I was a teen I wanted to go out trick-or-treating and I did go and I got a lot of candy. But when I returned home there was whip cream all over my trampoline and my trees had been rolled in toilet paper. I was very upset and it was a mess that I had to clean up my mom was mad to. I wish people would not do Halloween pranks like that it is not funny and it’s not fun to clean up. I know kids were just trying to be funny but to me that’s vandalism. I got lucky that there was no eggs thrown.

That sounds as though "trick" had been administered when you had had no opportunity to oblige with "treat"!
