Dream Songs: Runnin Down a Dream

As I mentioned yesterday, when you see a really good song here and wonder why it’s not top ten, we still have that top ten list to get to. This should indicate that categorizing these songs is quite difficult. Having said that, you can sing along with today’s song with “dream” in the title.
Runnin’ Down a Dream - Tom Petty
For those of you who listen to the radio a lot, I guess I should tell you there are more songs on this album than this one, “Free Fallin’” (or “Tree Fallin,” as JJ sang it this morning 
), and “I Won’t Back Down.” 
What can I say. Killer song. Killer album. Killer artist. I still like Damn the Torpedoes better, but this is one terrific album. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I overlooked this dreamy song! Can't go wrong with Petty and the Boys. And a little Del Shannon "Runaway" thrown in with Jeff Lynne's production made for a "Wilburys of a song
