Memories in the Emerald Island

Today is one of the days that I remember my life in the awesome Emerald Island. Today, 11 years ago, I was roaming around in the small town of Belmullet in County Mayo, Ireland. I was watching the feastivity of the town center on St. Patrick's Day.
There was a parade and shows on the streets. Lots of people and the pubs were full of customers. Some were already red on the checks, walking in zigzag and some have just came inside. It was a nice day. It was very interesting to watch how the friendly Irish people celebrated that day.
I don't think that they celebrated today like before the pandemic. I hope that the people I become friends with are in good health. Cheers to them.

I think you're saying that you doubt they were able to celebrate the day like they did when you're visited there? It's nice that your also made snow new friends when there.

I'm sure lots of people celebrated today just like they did 11 years ago. Lots of people around the world still don't believe in the Covid 19 virus.

I saw a wonderful light display on television. Evidently they had a lights display in the skies over Dublin, Ireland to celebrate St. Patrick's Day. It was beautiful.
