My February went by really quickly. In the first part of the month - was my birthday! So this year, being as I'm not going out to do anything much, I tried a lot of different virtual opportunities - a virtual murder mystery (fun), a couple of virtual paint parties (fun), a text based game (unusual), and rented "Welcome to Marwen" an imaginative movie. Of course the trivia game - 50 hr. trivia marathon hosted by the local college radio station happened, though this year I was answering the phones at home. Not the same, but I'm happy they made it work in a safe way anyay. I have been able to connect with friends mostly through phone calls or Zoom, and I stayed with Mom for awhile, and at my place for awhile. A friend gave me some troubling news, so I'm trying to deal with that, but in good news, my momma got her first vaccine shot I'm so very happy to say.
Goals wise - I have 3 recipes written down but I only remember 2 of them, a "cupboard" hotdish using chow mein noodles which wasn't bad, and as I dubbed it "chicken or the egg" salad, basically chicken in egg salad which is quite tasty.
7 exercise days (goal is supposed to be 12).... well.....that's more than half anyway
Learning : I didn't write anything down! But I have been listening to podcasts and radio a lot so I think that counts
Here's to continuing success for all of us!

What type of learning are you into? I like watching a science based YouTube channel called SciShow.
I always make egg salad with chicken in it. It's delicious!
SciShow explores the unexpected. Seven days a week, Hank Green, Michael Aranda, Rose Bear Don't Walk, and Stefan Chin delve into the scientific subjects that defy our expectations and make us even more curious! Schedule: Sundays - Learn about the amazing t

I like learning almost anything -- crafting techniques, dance, self-help, how things work.... :-) Sci Show sounds fascinating, thanks for that.
Yum! I just discovered chicken/egg salad but you're right, it's fantastic!

@FayeHazel We have had very few deaths really. Our state (Western Australia) has had only 9 COVID deaths and Australia as a whole has only had 909 deaths. We had various restrictions in place over quite some time but the disease as a whole was controlled really well.

@JudyEv Wow. I'm happy to hear that. Maybe it's beacuse so hot there and the virus isn't supposed to like hot. :-) No matter the cause I'm happy it didn't get too bad there.
I thought I read something about Australia pre-emptively placing some buying restrictions too (toilet paper, soap and the like) - that would have been smart ....

Wow! Back to normal from the pandemic you mean? I hope so, that is awesome! It was starting to wane a bit here, but then we're on a bit of an uptick right now I guess. More and more people getting vaccine every day though

Aha, a shorter month, a shorter list of goals (just kidding). Virtual is the way these days and seems your making efficient use of it! You will have to up that exercise total a bit for March. I often put chicken slices in my salad. Great way to combine two healthier dishes.
My goal was to finish my 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle before St. Pat's day. Mission accomplished a few days early
I often listen to Spotify. It helps me come up with ideas for playlists
And finally Happy Belated Birthday!

@FayeHazel I've been exercising in the evening more. I seem less distracted and more focused at that time.

Thanks... actually last update I got was a bit of better news. I'm still worried though and her family is rather sparse with the details, but.... one day at a time
