Depression and Stress

Hi everyone
Depression always existed for so many reasons but nowadays due to this pandemic that affected the entire world a lot of people is suffering from a deeper depression.
Some people lost their jobs, other ones have a job but are working with afraid to get the virus, other ones are working so hard that can't even sleep properly. The fact that we are not able to see our friends like we used to, do some activities that we used to do, all that is making us feel more and more depressed.
I think it is important that we try to find ways to don't lose touch with who we are. If we have to stay at home we need to try to distract ourselves with movies, series, reading books, paint, a hobby that we really like so that way we can feel a little bit better and if we feel really bad and that we should stop living we should for sure speak with someone about this: a friend, a family member or even a hotline that helps people that feel suicidal.
Sadly I heard that since covid appeared a lot of people are taking their lives and I really hope that it changes.
Right now even I am staying home because the Hotel where I work is closed and sometimes I have some things to do for work but I do it from home and it helps me get distracted along with exercise, watch movies, watch series, play games. We need to be busy with something.That way even if sometimes we feel like we are sick of the same routine we will soon relax and forget that we are in a hard situation for some time.
