Its always a learning process. Thats what relationships are about. You are always learning about each other, which should be interseting.

its easy to love but its more warming to be loved.nobody can survive without love...love makes life complete,so thats a purpose of a relationship...and i say it to all relationships say a husband and wife or a mother ans son.all hold the same purpose.

We all have relationships. Just diffirent levels..... I'm taking you're talking about a girl / boy relationship. I am married and I have to say it is good to have someone to care for and to be cared for. Not always easy, but very rewarding. Dating, I think, is a very good way to get to know yourself. You get to know your likes and dislikes. Also what you are looking for in a future partner. Scary to say, but your parents probably know you better than you know yourself. Love is blind and often we look past incompatability. So if you want an honest opinion, listen to what your parents say. Helped me a lot.......

I think the purpose is for you to have someone to enjoy and for them too.
