I love banana's but interestingly, banana's are not fruits, they are actually herbs. In the same way that tomatoes are not veggies, they are fruits. By definition, a fruit has seeds, which qualifies tomatoes and disqualifies bananas. I know it doesn't answer the question, but this site is educational. Banana's are sweet because they are what is called a 'sterile herb'.

I LOVE bananas.... i eat them in every Form..Raw , fried with sugar ...with cream .... As banana split ... i even love banana milk shake and ice creams!!!!!!
