I recently had a party and was threatened with guns if I didn’t turn my music down

I had a party for Floyd Mayweather Senior. The party was great and everyone was having a great time we had a DJ we had food we barbecued the pool was heated up to 97°. It was a blast it was during the day between 2 o’clock and 8:00 PM. One of the neighbors who was an older gentleman came over to the house about 3 o’clock or four in the afternoon it was something like that and told us to turn our music down or else they were going to call the homeowners association and The six other neighbors were going to bring their guns if we did not do it. It was during the day and we did have the music loud but I believe that the noise violation is after 10 o’clock. So they had no right to come over here and threaten us with guns. We did make a police report but the police said that there was no threat because they didn’t threaten to shoot us. They quoted they were going to bring our guns so they said they did not qualify as a threat. To me this qualifies as a threat I think the police did not do their job correctly what are you guys think.
