Harry and Meghan didn't marry ahead of their wedding

The couple gave an interview to Oprah that aired a couple of weeks ago. They said all sorts of stuff including that they were married at their house privately three days before their official wedding. There was a big furor in the UK after the residents heard that because the taxpayers paid for their wedding that cost like $50 million. Anyway it came out yesterday that they were NOT in fact married privately ahead of the ceremony. They said that Meghan was "American and confused". I don't know how you get confused about getting married but that is a strange thing to lie about. What is the point? These two have been doing some crazy stuff lately.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex (pictured) confessed the ceremony with the Archbishop of Canterbury in Kensington Palace saw them just 'privately exchange personal vows'.

I think Meghan is having a hard time adjusting to the family of Prince Harry

They have basically left the royal family. They gave up their roles. They moved to the US.

The archbishop of Canterbury could not have married them in their garden since outdoor religious weddings are not allowed. I have doubts about a lot of what she said. Since she and Harry were patrons for some mental health groups it seems unlikely she couldn't get help and Harry was quite vocal about the help he received dealing with the loss of his mother.

A big church wedding, according to the rites of the Church of England, would not have been possible if the couple had already had a marriage ceremony. Not that long ago, a church wedding would have impossible anyway, because Meghan was previously divorced. I know that from personal experience, having been divorced. All the Church would offer was a blessing after we had a registry office wedding - but that was almost exactly 35 years ago!

I remember her looking at Harry after she mentioned that. Very odd. At least they earned somewhere around 10 million for that interview.

Their wedding cost $50 million? That's insane.
