I work so very hard every single day on and offline. I make plans each day to work and to also get this and that done.
It is hard a lot of times when I cannot make progress due to having to deal with some business practices that hinder or make such delays though.
That gets on my nerves. I have been dealing with some of them for so long now and they will not take care of one simple issue even though they say they will.
It goes on and on and on with so many of them these days.

I know what you mean. It could be just a tiny thing but if that is not provided work cannot progress.

Can you ask to speak to a supervisor? Sometimes they are the only ones that can get things moving again or better.

@MarshaMusselman On my end, yes, they were all lying to us. We have called and talked to so many of them and each time, they told a new lie.
My husband and I both were told lies. Not just me. I know what you mean. The businesses we have been dealing with, say they will call us back but they never do.
A lot of them will go out of their way to tell us some lies without us even asking for the information too.
When we ask to talk to supervisors, etc. they tell us they are not available ro would not be able to answer our question either. I have never heard fo such things till now. If they cannot answer the questions about their own business, then who in the world can?

@stephcjh I don't think they're all lying but if they're not working in the same facility anymore it might be harder to tell who's available.
If rather then say I might need to be on hold for awhile than to have me call back later. It is annoying when your on hold and you don't even know if you have the right extension.

Customer service, which is what I assume you are referring to here, has really gone to the dogs these days. It's become way too impersonal as some of these companies have become so big. It's why I like to patronize mom and pops whenever I can. But of course, for obvious reasons, that is not always impossible. You still have to deal with the cable companies and phone companies and utility companies. It is what it is I guess.

@stephcjh That irks me to no end. I can see no practical reason to not have a call center in the U.S. to deal with U.S. customers. Especially a lot of the time the foreign ones have very bad english skills and are very hard to understand. Makes a frustrating situation just that much more frustrating.
I like when they say, "Hebbo, dis isss Nancy. How con ah hep you?"
You are NOT Nancy.

Sometimes things get into our nerves indeed but hey if we get affected with these stuff then ultimately it will be our loss in the end right? But i have to agree with you that it gets really annoying at times

Yes. One of the things I am dealing with is very important, yet they drag their feet. Grrrrr I do what I am asked to do but they don't follow through.

It does seem at times life is full of interruptions that prevent us from accomplishing our everyday goals. Unfortunately, I have not found a successful way to stop them. And as you say ones concerning business issues can be particularly time consuming. It's a constant battle of phone tag to speak with the proper person who can deal with your issue. I guess interruptions are our life aren't they?

Yes and I hate playing the phone tag thing. Yes. It is a major part of our lives these days and I just hate it because a lot of them do not know what they are doing and a lot of them go out of their way to lie to you also and lead you on.

@dgobucks226 Right. I am sorry you are dealing with it too. All kinds of people have become so rude these days and uncaring unfortunately.

@stephcjh Yes, definitely. I've had some very frustrating experiences speaking with customer service people who don't care about your issues.

it is an interesting affectation of modern life. The value now is knowing the shortcuts. I try really hard to always be patient with customer service people, after all it is simply their job to be there they can not help the reality. I also do reviews on Yelp. I have had the misfortune of dealing with 8 companies in the last 8 years that i felt deserved 1 start out of 5!
In every case, it was customer service that got me frustrated. Of course, I have also dealt with other companies that I would actually pay more for their services because their customer service is really exceptional!
