I have been hearing and reading about the tornadoes that touched down in Alabama. It is so sad that people lost their lives and homes due to it. We were to have severe weather here also but it evidently missed us. I live in tornado alley and I am so afraid it will come through my area some day. It has already been so close. AOL provided this article about the Alabama tornadoes.

At least 5 dead after tornadoes sweep through Alabama

The fatalities included a family of three whose wood frame collapsed during the severe weather on Thursday.

I have seen hurricanes on tv but never been involved in one. Those are very scary as well.

@stephcjh I mean I saw them on TV as well. Never experienced one since we don't have one only typhoons here.

This must be frightening to live in such an area. Hoping the people in Alabama will have quick recovery. Disaster recovery will soon be an entire industry.
