I was doing okay until we went out to run some errands. I got hungry and we didn't have that much money so we went to Mcdonald's. I couldn't afford a salad so I had cheeseburgers.
Now I am over my calorie limit. I am supposed to stay at 900 and I am at a little over 1,200 now.
I feel so bad about it. I can't anything else today.

Next time that happens, have a healthy salad or something for supper. Never try to starve yourself. I lost 35 pounds without ever being hungry. And I had the occasional burger and treat.
Think of something to bring with you that can tide you over until you get home. As a single parent, I did that to save money. Now I do it to prevent stopping for the high calorie food
Don't feel guilty, just continue doing better than you did before.
It feels great to get healthier! Think of what you are gaining and not about what you are giving up
Wishing you strength!

@AngelisaQT Also, find some delicious recipes so you can enjoy eating and stay in your calories.
Make a burger at home and wrap in large lettuce leaves instead of a bun.
All sorts of ideas like that.

@paigea I have been eating healthy and staying within my calorie limit ... it's just that once when I didn't have enough to get a salad so I chose a burger. It's ridiculous that healthy food is so much more expensive.
I have cut out all junk food at home and only buying healthy foods.
I use eatthismuch.com to make meal plans and such. It's really neat.

Don't beat yourself up. You shouldn't starve yourself either. If you're hungry, eat. It's that simple.

I've spoke to a dietician about it and she did the proper calculations. It's so low because I am so short (4'6")

@AngelisaQT I understand. But you also have to be okay with tripping up from time to time. It happens to the best of us. Just get back on the horse and show it who's boss.

@porwest I'm just scared of failure. Today I am eating below my calorie limit to make up for yesterday.

There's a fun saying that if it tastes good, it has no calories! hahaha
