Saturday chores etc.

Hubby got up and I mentioned we could go to the store either today or tomorrow after church. He chose today. We hurried and went to Aldi.
The nice thing . . .we got there a little earlier than usual, AND this is not payday weekend for most people so we did not have so many crowds.
I thought about food I had on hand and decided that when we got home we would have the last servings of veggie beef soup, and grilled cheese on rye. For sides we had potato chips, kraut, and pickle spears. It was fast and flavorful.
I have been painting some furniture, so I was not here very much at all. I still have more to paint, but I thought I would check in.
I have trash to take out and compost as well. Lots of things to do. With my leg not hurting all the time I have some energy to get things done.
I have a quilted comforter in the wash which I will carry to the clothesline to dry. We had rain overnight, but do not have it now.

Sounds like a good day all around. My husband and I just returned home from shopping, ourselves.

I'm glad you had a good trip at the store and now crowds, that's the best time to go.
Good luck on painting I hope you get it done. I got all my laundry done and completed today also.
