Something about NETFLIX I'm Surprised I Didn't Bring Up Sooner

Well, I DID sort of complain when I noticed them doing it with Jeri Ryan's image on their STAR TREK: VOYAGER episode 'description-pages' (posting her "7 of 9" on that page even connected to the episodes in the three seasons when she WASN'T on the show yet).
You know how--on the streaming-service NETFLIX--you select the show you want to watch, and it opens up an 'description-page' for the next available episode. And at the top of that page, there's a picture for the show.
Those pictures will frequently feature 'stars of the show' (revealing their thinking (probably right) that people usually watch television shows to "be friends with the people who star in the show" (ya know, 'to see how your "friends" are doing').
The deal with that is---If a show lasts more than 3 seasons, many of the show's main stars are going to either-leave the show before it stops filming new seasons, or -not going to be on the show for the first few seasons.
That first kind of absence is featured HUGELY in later seasons of DC's LEGENDS OF TOMORROW ... it's THIS picture, showing on all the episodes---and the current crew (of the show's time-ship) has ONLY TWO of the faces in that lineup!

@mythociate
Need to start watching Legends Of Tomorrow. I've caught up on Mayans MC. Was planning to start Ozark or Bad Blood but I guess I need to watch something different this time.

That's 'the good thing' about disability (at least now in 'the mobile-com age') ... you have time to 'notice' things that most people should be too busy to notice.

@allen0187 I also commonly watch GOTHAM (sort of 'The Early Years of BATMAN,' mostly before he donned the cape-and-cowel) and COMMUNITY (a comedy about a bad-bad-bad community-college).

And be sure to tell him about THE FLASH, Supergirl, ARROW, BATWOMAN ... the whole CW DC-lineup (since they do some crossovers and ... mainly so he gets it whenever they joke about 'another crossover'). https://newmediarockstars.com/2016/01/dc-cw-shows-recap-everything-might-missed-week-arrow-flash-legends-tomorrow/

Netflix kind-of IS the Internet ... it actually 'used to be' (and probably still is, a little) DVD-by-mail---I think it was 'you rented a DVD, watched it, sent it in with a small fee and the name of the next movie you want to see, and they send yo the next DVD (to watch and then send in with your next order).'
Now it works like that except (usually) with ONE monthly payment and you can then watch any movie or show on their streaming catalogue.
