In 1965 The Supremes were at number one on the US singles chart with "Stop In the Name Of Love" It was their fourth US number-one single
In 1967 John Lennon and Paul McCartney got the prestigious Ivor Novello award for "Michelle" which was the most performed song in the UK in 1966
In 1972 Elvis recorded his last major hit "Burning Love" The song became his biggest hit single since "Suspicious Minds" in 1969
In 1984 Bryan Adams recorded "Run To You" for his fourth studio album Reckless. It was the first single released from this album. It became his first UK hit, The video which was filmed in London and Los Angeles was nominated for the 1985 MTV Video Music Awards in five different categories.

But their music still shines @GreatMartin and is better than some of the modern music around today. I think I have listened to My Favorites list on YouTube umpteen times already and still love the songs

I really like Elvis's Suspicious Minds! Great song by the King. That song gets me "All Shook Up."
