Today topic Politics , I am from USA and will always there to help poor countries . But when we needed help no one came forward to help us. So I was wondering if we really should help or just let every body else take care of their problems. We spend millions of Dollars yearly we are the good guys but I think it is about time that we will think twice before send or give any thing to any one.

In my own opinion, there is nothing wrong with helping another country but one's own country remain a priority.

The U.S. is lucky because the whole world embraced the dollar as the world currency. I think this is more economics rather than political. The U.S. has 27 trillion in debt and your federal reserve keeps on printing money with nothing much to back it up through quantitative easing. Did you know that in the month ofJune 2020 alone your federal reserve printed more money in a month than since the time the dollar was invented? Count it a blessing that the whole world still trusts printed money in exchange for goods and services, the same way poor countries see aide as a blessing that may or may not have a political agenda attached. No offense meant but this is just based on facts, research, and readings I made.

You know some thing, when the Government give to some one, some one else have to pay for it. Printing money is not a solution, but what can be done? let see if the rich corporations will start paying taxes, such amazon and more. Also they are lots big corporations that their head quarter is in Russia or some other country and they pay zero tax, nada . Nothing , we must run after these guys.

@coolsite very rich people and corporations do not pay or pay very small taxes. You want to know why? These individuals and corporations have a lot of assets, they simply borrow from a big bank using their asset to acquire more assets, when you buy something using borrowed money against your asset you get taxed less. These people are also in cohorts with the big banks cause most of them are stake or stockholders so they pay a very small interest. That's the mechanism that makes the rich richer, they know the loopholes and could afford good tax lawyers. Even Trump I think boasted with the taxes he paid and nobody could do a thing about it. The burden of taxes are left to small biz owners, professionals and the working middle and lower class. Big corporations actually move their operations called outsourcing to other countries to avail of cheap labor cost and in return these countries badly need green bucks badly. Again the dollar won't be top currency forever based on history especially at the rate the federal reserve prints money and might ( God forbid ) end up as inflationary money, it has already lost a large percent of it's value since Richard Nixon in 1971 removed the gold standard or gold reserve for every dollar that's printed and transfered power to the federal reserve that's composed of people from you guess right...big banks

@louievill Talking about Trump you know how much he paid federal tax 2019? about $800 or less. and I am a working for living paid almost ten times more. You are 100% right and Hope President Biden will change that. He already mentioned that his is going after these guys. the question when and how. Thanks for you great respond.

The sad thing about the U.S. (and I'm from here too) is that politions don't use our tax dollars wisely. They never had. The national debt is higher than its ever been, and the president thinks it's a good idea to dump our hard earned tax dollars into other counteries to supposedly keep up good forigen relations, instead of spending it wisely to help our people.

@coolsite And, that's just one country. Sleepy Joe decided to have the U.S. join the green efforts France started, and while that's all well in good by doing so, he also agreed that we pay for it.

I am sure you know how much money we are giving under the table to few countries . For example Pakistan gets few millions because they have nuclear capacity and USA pay them in order not to use it. More and more and I think it is about time to stop that. Even after the Iraq war they send cash about 50 millions and the funny part of it , this money gone missing for few years , no one knew where and how.
