Florida Republican Representative Matt Gaetz has been accused of having sex with an underage girl. He denies it and claims that it is an extortion attempt by a former Department of Justice official. He appeared Tucker Carlson's show last night and bizarrely offered at that they are accusing him of being in pictures with her too. That had not been reported. . . but now it is.

He is not so smart. Ironically Gaetz is the only person to vote against a bipartisan sex trafficking bill. I wonder why.

I´m sure a lot of people do this. Politicians are more exposed but they also have more means to defend themselves. I´m glad that women are starting to use their voices.

Never a good thing no matter the side of the aisle. I always try to give anyone the benefit of the doubt. However, more often than not cases like this prove to be true.

@NJChicaa You are right. Political affiliation doesn't have a thing to do with it. There are bad actors on both sides for sure. Although, it does tend to be more of a common thing among liberals for whatever reason.

This story is going to get very interesting. William Barr started the investigation and he didn't do anything Trump didn't tell him to do and the question is why? Was Gaetz planning on turning on Trump, so they needed to blackmail him? Or is it so bad that Barr knew they had to be on the right side of things to avoid being implicated in a cover-up?
