Trying to Beat the Deadline

But to no avail.
Despite my busy schedule, I am doing my best to submit the needed reports required by the office. With regards to gender and development plan and accomplishment reports, everything should be submitted online using the website created for that purpose. I was constantly reminding everyone of the deadline. Complying will be beneficial for me, the officers in charge in the area, as well as the local government unit concerned.
But for some reasons, most of them are really waiting for the deadline before taking an action. I am aware that the site is not easy to navigate especially if they don't have experience in different sites. So, I told them they can visit the office so that I may be able to assist them. Out of 15, only 3 requested for an assistance. One invited me to visit their place, while the 2 came to the office.
On the last day of submission, the remaining LGUs tried to comply. I am posting an hourly update in our group chat. At the end of the day, there were 2 LGUs who were not able to comply. I don't know what to think. For me, I tried my best but I can't force others to do the same.
Do you have similar experience when co-workers are not cooperative? But when the day of assessment comes, they are expecting to be on top.

Yes Dianne. It is my decision to do my best because the people are paying for my salary. I just feel sad when others don't consider this as priority.

@ARIES1973 I don’t blame you. It’s crummy when people don’t do their jobs well.

Thank you Rebecca. But the truth is I didn't. But compared to others, I think we did better.

Precisely! Maybe I am still lucky. Because after the deadline is a long holiday. So I was given a chance to follow up with the two LGUs and I think I can complete it before work resume on Monday.

Hi! I can handle myself during times like this. I don't want to stress myself too much. But I want to support my boss, because this program is included in the programs being rated during assessment. I want to let them know that I am doing my best efforts. I am employed in a national government agency in-charge of monitoring local government units. Yes, we are frontliners as we need to oversee the LGUs including but not limited to activities during pandemic.

Yes, I am handling various programs both technical and admin. This is the setup in our office since we lack in manpower. But it's okay. What is important is we have a job, many people lost their jobs during the pandemic.

Yes, people have different priorities so maybe they don't see this as one.
