Dear April, Thank You for Giving Me Some Holidays

We had an extremely busy start of the year. So many catching up on last year's activities and a lot of activities piling up on my schedule. I remember last year when I was not able to enjoy my birthday off and other forced leave schedules because of the pandemic. I was ordered to join the skeletal force in charged of monitoring the distribution of financial assistance being given to the people in line with the pandemic. This year, I need to work overtime just to finish the tasks brought about by the influx of activities during the last month of 2020. Then, new schedules came in and I had to join the group assigned in the development planning. I was surprised that during our conference, another set of schedules for April must be made and I can't say no when they place me on the first and second week. Our office is requiring us to submit a forced leave schedule during the first week of the year. I was afraid I might not enjoy my forced leave again. So, when we get back to the office on Tuesday, I decided to plot my April schedule and requested the Human Resource Officer if I can take a look at my submitted forced leave schedule to make sure. I was happy to see that my forced leave schedule was not included in the immersion schedule. Meaning, I can still enjoy my 5-day forced leave. Thank you Lord, I can enjoy my birthday this year. Sorry, it's birth anniversary according to JJ.
