Why would someone deliberately cheat?

I'm curious to know, boys and girls, that choose to cheat even if they are committed to someone else, saying things like " it's over between us, but it's complicated" and so on... I mean, i would never fall for that, but what are the reasons driving them?

That's the thing, I think they do have that intention, is like, keeping your official girlfriend or wife to have some stability, and looking for something else somewhere else?
I would never understand this, I could understand if it happened to fall in love with someone while in a relationship, but not the other way around

In a word, 'boredom'. Plus the chance for some excitement in doing something clandestinely with someone usually younger and more adventurous than one's existing partner. It's rarely thought of as 'cheating'. That's the name that other people give to it.

@MadFit The 'cheater' doesn't usually think of it as cheating. They would usually see an affair as a separate part of their lives which doesn't belong to the part which is their relationship with their 'legitimate' partner (i.e. husband, wife or accepted 'other').

You would have to ask that person. But, it can be a different factor, such as what you mentioned. Often, the feelings a person might have for another person might be only on surface level. Once that feeling fades, they realize they made a mistake. Rather than admit the mistake, they go for the next person who captures their attention.

I cannot say.
I cannot even understand why would a committed person still do that kind of thing.
My father, for example... has a first family other than us. I don't know what went wrong to their family. Then, with us, he still chose to cheat. Yet another cheat.. 3 times more while having us. Without us knowing. Well, we have known it late and because i signed in to his messenger that's why we knew.
Once a cheater, always a cheater..
Regardless of how good the family that someone have, if they want to cheat, they will cheat. That is life. We just have to steer away from those kind of people.

Well I can't really speak for others I believe everybody cheats for a reason in their own way well it doesn't have to have a reason to cheat some men or women are just greedy
