It has been our family's plan every summer to travel especially during the Holy Week. We usually stay one-week long in the beach or anywhere else we'd like to be. The last travel we had was on December 2019.
It was last year when the pandemic broke and we never had the chance to travel again. Good thing that I did not book earlier like I used to. I thought that this time we would be able to travel because it was not that strict anymore. However, before the Holy Week, a lockdown was imposed and its going to be extended up to this week.
How I miss to travel!
When was the last time you did?

Miss travelling as well.
Managed to go on a quick overnight trip last February 2020 before the lockdown.

@cherigucchi I haven't been out since the pandemic. Only short trips to the grocery and laundry shop.

@cherigucchi Actually when I do that I kind of missed and enjoy the feelings by recalling them again. It is like rewinding the scenes back again and feeling it back again.

That is what I have been doing. May be that is also why I am missing traveling right now.

It has been a long time that I travelled by bus. Most of the time we travel with our own vehicle

@gamayngbaki Yes, I also experienced that. I remember traveling by bus with my only son, He was so amazed of the experience because it was his first time. He was 14 years old that time.

I miss travelling, I miss going on a holiday, and I miss travelling to see my family as they live abroad :(, sure Internet helps, but it's not the same, I did manage to go on a holiday last August but I was used to have many city breaks through the year also which I wasn't able to do so, and I can't even say I saved those money cause my income is waaay less because of the pandemic...

That is true. Though we can still communicate through the internet, seeing them in person is different.

Two years ago, for my mother-in-law's 90th birthday. Due to COVID we haven't been able to visit in person. Hubby doesn't want to drive the hour, just to talk to his mom through a closed glass door.

@cherigucchi We're not restricted in travel, but the nursing home where my mother-in-law is living won't allow outside visitors in.

@kaylachan That is understandable if they do not allow visitors to come in. How old is your MIL?
