My Life Has Totally Changed

Looking back before the pandemic, life seemed easy. I went to work at 6 AM and got home by 3 PM. All work was left and when I was home, I could relax and do household chores. When pandemic came everything changed because working from home made me lose my sense of time. Not only that, when my immediate Boss retired and I assumed her place, things became more difficult since I had to report physically twice a week.
Work seemed endless and time seemed short to do everything. Am I complaining? Sometimes I do but there is nothing much I can do now but to let nature take its own course.
have your life changed as well?

Sometimes it feels good when you have a channel where you can vent things out but I am hoping that this makes no burden to anyone.

It definitely changed because of the pandemic. Managed to adjust accordingly though. That is what I do, I try to see if something works, if it does, I do it. If it doesn't I just try something else.

Did your get a raise after becoming the boss?
My life is pretty much the same as I work in a grocery store an essential business so I still go to work everyday. I've still got messed up on my days but that's partly sure to changing my days off.

I would agree here. The sense of time has got totally lost while working from home. Professional time is invading personal time and vice versa. It really needs a skillful time management and I am struggling here.

My life has changed a little. I've actually found working from home to be quite beneficial. I still work normal office hours doing the same job (well, sort of. I did change my job but it's more or less the same). Apart from the time and money spent on commuting, I've been able to get bits of housework done or start dinner early or get on with some hobbies during my lunch break.
Other than that, the only thing that's really changed is that I no longer meet my best friend for a pub meal once a month. We don't do a lot else anyway!

You pointed out advantages of working from home and I can also appreciate that. And of course there are also disadvantages. Thanks for sharing

Since the pandemic I have become more and more a caged animal. I live alone and don´t go out. And even if I talk by the telphone with a few people, I haven´t been out of my house for over a year.

I actually think I would love to be able to work from home, but to be able to make my own schedule..
But I think it's harder to start now when no-one is hiring and training gets harder, than if you were already doing it before.
The only part I would miss is being among different people than just the one I live with, I'm guessing it depends on the relationship you have with the coworkers

There are good things working from home but there are also disadvantages. But the good thing is I can still work and earn a decent living.
