Hello Friends,
Today I was cleaning up my contents and I came across a diary with all the sites that I had joined and I landed on myLot. It has been a very long time and I thought I will login and see how all my contacts have been doing. Hope all is well. I am wondering if myLot is still the same site or has anything changed here! I would be nice to hear back from you all and catch up on everything that I have missed at myLot.

Welcome back! When was the last time you were in Mylot? If it was 10 years ago then Mylot has changed a lot. User ratings is gone and minimum payout has been reduced to $5.

@tiwari5485 I will turn 11 years this year in Mylot. I have no method to earn me better in Mylot. I am only here when i am motivated to. When I’m not having fun, you won’t see me in Mylot for months. But when I’m here it means that i am enjoying it. So no method except following how i feel. the money in Mylot is too small and it’s the least important to me. What’s important to me and the reason why I’m here is when i’m having a great chat with friends. So i guess, I can say that the best method is to make friends.

@toniganzon I agree, the best method for getting the best out of anything is making new friends and learning and growing from them. I also like to chat with real people and can definitely happy to have come back, earning some money definitely does help.

I am not quite sure when, definitely has been a while. I am glad that the payout has been reduced. How long have you been with myLot and what are the different methods that you use to earn better?

I usually have a diary where I list all the sites as I join them, once a year I will update the diary and remove the sites that I have stopped visiting. It's good that you were able to come back, how are you doing with it?

I am glad you like it Shasha. Is there any particular reason that you joined myLot? I joined in an effort to earn some income from home and I also like chatting with people from all walks of life. I find that chatting with real people is very healing and helps relieve depression. Happy myLoting!

@tiwari5485 My main reason to join myLot is to interact with people internationally. That way I can practice my English, as well as learn new cultures from other people.

Welcome back!
The most important changes are:
1) The website was entirely redesigned in 2013 and 'Tags' have taken the place of 'Interests' and 'Categories'. 'Friends' has been split into 'Following' and 'Followers' and the site now adjusts itself to whatever screen size you are using.
2) After a period (from 2013 to 2015) when the earnings program was abolished, it is now back with an entirely new algorithm which is based on the interaction you receive from others and not on what you post at all. Details can be found in the Earnings Program FAQs. The minimum level for payout has also been reduced to $5.
3) The Community Guidelines and the Frequently Asked Questions pages have been completely rewritten and are now much simpler to read and follow (though not quite as comprehensive or clear as I would like, yet!)

Thank you Dianne for the warm welcome. So far, I am enjoying my return and hope to stick around. I don't quite remember why I had left previously. Hoping to make new friends and learn.
Stay safe and healthy
