What a Gift!

Last Saturday, I went to my sons' flat 2 blocks away from where I live. We had a cooking day with his Thermomix machine. It was the first time I cooked with my son since he became adult. He taught me how to cook with a modern cooking machine which will only function with wifi connection.
I was impressed of the machine and how my son was cooking. It was a happy bonding time with him. The food we cooked together was pasta with chicken tomato cream sauce. It was very delicious and filling. We ate together while watching "Old Boy" movie on Netflix.
My son had 2 Thermomix and he had given me 1 as a gift. I was surprised as I was not expecting and I prefer to cook the traditional way but I can't say no to the gift. I had mixed emotions but happy to receive it.
Now, I am reading the manual of this machine. It seems complicated but I am glad my son taught me how to cook with it last Saturday. I am looking for a space in the kitchen where I can put it.
Anyway, I am very grateful to have a child like my son. Very independent, respectful, kind and many more good qualities.
Thank you for reading. Have a nice day everyone.
P.S.
I have wrote about this machine before. Here is the link
Have you heard about Thermomix? I have heard it a few weeks ago. Thermomix seems a new way of cooking. It is a kind of cooking machine which weighs, chops,...

@thelme55 I do not think we have that here in the US. I hope you find good things to make with it.

@thelme55 I just looked it up. We do have it and it's a very complicated piece of machinery.

@thelme55 For most parents, it's the time when the children have legally turned adults that is most difficult. I call it a phase when the children assert their personalities that sometimes they think they know better than the parents. I was a bit shocked when I realized my children were teaching me to do things I already know. But I kept quiet. Ha ha. What else can I do? I simply enjoyed the bonding.

Thank you @RebeccasFarm. My son came today after work and set up the wifi for this machine. I had to upload an app for this. It's ready for use.
