Weight Loss Journey 2021 - April 8th

Hello everyone, how are you all doing? Well I hope. Anyways, back to share my weight loss journey for today. Today was not a carnivore day really, more just low carb. Been struggling with eating carnivore. Let's start with the weigh in: Last - 187.2 Today - 187.0 I went down 0.2, so not a lot but at least it went down again. Blood sugars? I don't even want to share those. Fasting - 185 Meal 1 - 227 Meal 2 -253 Meal 3 - 193 What did I eat? Probably what really hurt me today was the coffee that I had. We went to a coffee shop that makes frappes, and other coffees. I got a frappe with a sugar free base, and flavoring and whipped cream. That does not mean low carb necessarily though. If we go again I will have their Keto Coffee (unless it is a cheat day). Anyways, food wise I had a grilled chicken breast from Wendy's with cheese. Later, tried some items from the Keto Krate (Parmesan crisps, pumpkin seeds, almonds and mini cookies). I only had a little taste except of the cookies and crisps. For my second meal I had a taco without the shell (forgot my low carb wraps). So, just taco seasoned meat, cheese, sour cream and sugar free ketchup. Lastly for the day, I had 2 meat sticks and another Keto Krate item (the Genius Gourment Keto Snacks BBQ Chips). Well review all the items I tried over the next few days....when I can. Anyways, macros? These are approximate because I don't know what exactly was in the "frappe" Calories - 1,262 calories Protein - 96 Fat - 86 Net Carbs -26 Water - about 16 oz. Steps - 3,518 Not horrible macros at all.....just a bit high with the carbs. At least, if what I calculated for the coffee is correct. I am guessing the scale will go up tomorrow because of the extra carbs and the fact I did not work out today. What do you think of this day of eating? I was hoping to not cheat at all this month...but I do plan for 1 day on Saturday. Maybe I can work out and hopefully counteract the carbs (well that probably won't work). Also, how did you all do? I'm surprised your numbers were so high just for a little cheat. Forget about it and move on!

I moved on, to a full on cheat today.....I will get back on track to something Monday.

@LindaOHio Just not sure how much more damage I am causing though. Wondering if I made things bad enough I am now type 1.

I didn't stick to the diet today though, so going to mess up again. Just hate carnivore already

What is their keto coffee like? Just wondering. All I could find at like Starbucks to drink was cold brew with heavy cream when I was doing it. It definitely does seem crazy how the carbs add up so fast like that. I should start doing these entries as well for accountability, I like your set up. I am going to weigh myself tomorrow too...Scared. Wish me luck!!

I haven't tried their keto coffee actually....but they say it is just coffee with ghee and heavy cream or something like that. I love iced coffee with heavy cream and sugar free sweetener though. I think that is great if you want to make posts like this about your food and how you are doing! Glad you like the set up :) I can understand that, when we are working hard on trying to lose weight/do good...it is scary to get on the scale and see the result. Best of luck!
