@Lignitecityabishek96 I agree. Instead of using the grinder my grandmother likes to grind her spices manually on what we call a grinding stone. The taste is unique especially when you are using this in a curry or to make pickles

Interesting! Here many families still uses these traditional method of cooking. We can feel the unique taste when prepared in traditional method.

Actually, we had two sets. One belongs to great grand mother era and another one belongs to grandmother era. We donated one to nearby poor. Still few people from villages are using this.

It was around 70years old. It belongs to my great great grandmother. Don't know the exact age but surely 70+.
