Mylots Is Worth It

I went into this pretty skeptical. But I figured 'hey, I spend roughly 14 hours online everyday, may as well make a couple of bucks off of it'.
I got on and saw people posting about how they only make 50 cents or a dollar per day. I was a bit discouraged, but still figured 'may as well'.
I joined night before last. I signed in today to find a balance of $6.00. Six bucks in about 32 hours. Not too bad, I think.
Just wanted to share my story with everyone else on here, especially people who might be frustrated.

congrats! i think i know why you've been successful!
your posts are qualitative and not just quantitative! i've noticed you 'round and you have much to say! and not just nonsense, real content. so if anyone deserves it, you earned that money you made :)
i'm sluggishly earning since i joined almost a week ago, but i admit i don't spend all day on mylot haha. but i'm satisfied with my earnings, they are not super high, but they're much higher than i originally anticipated, so nothing to complain about.

welcome to mylot and i hope your earnings are still going up, like mine are. they are still steady and a bit slow, but a nice little 'salary' nonetheless for the time i spend here.

I think that's a great anount to have made! Sometimes, I feel like I've earned a decent amount and at times I feel jipped/ripped off. But this is free so I try not to set my standards too high. Keep on earning!

It is an easy way to make money if you have the time. I think a lot of people get disappointed because they want to go on here and make enough to avoid having to work and that's just not going to happen.

Yeah, people who go into this expecting it to be their sole mode of income have another thing coming to them. But if you've got the time and patience, it's great.

It depends on where you are in the world and what that $10 payout would mean to you, I think. I did a post a few days ago to find out what does $10 mean to you and to a person in another country it means 2 months worth of Pampers. Here in US that would be one week of Pampers. So perhaps some would get disappointed, but others would be ecstatic.

Well, it depends much on your ratings. Some might depend on referrals, but if you have very high ratings, your posts can earn you up to 10 times the normal post.
As long as you avoid posting "yes"/"no" answers, and write on-topic, youll do fine.

Yeah, I try and only respond to actual questions that need an answer, and try and post things that will generate discussion. I don't have any referrals, but I made 5 bucks in one day just posting discussions and responses.
I actually think I found this place through you, come to think of it! So you have my thanks. :D

At first yes, it is frustrating but I have set my goals here and besided I'm an internet addict so it is the best way to spend some time in the internet.

Yes it is. I just got paid out today at $91.44. I didn't know if they really would. Well, they were honest and they did. I was very surprised. And after cleaning out the garbage, the discussions are more fun and friendly now. Good luck, keep up the good work my friend.

I spent an hour (or less) yesterday (my technical first day here 'cause of login issues) starting 1 discussion and making 4 comments, and signed in today to find $0.24. That's not too bad, and I'm glad to see your story, misskatonic. ^_^ Very encouraging, since I'm trying to find ways to supplement my finicky assigned freelance income.

I think that's great! I've heard that if you make your comments at least three lines you get more. But it also, has to be a good three lines. Also, they say that commenting back on people's responses is good. I've been trying to catch up on that. As long as my earned amount keeps going up, I'm happy!

I came to this site as a bit of fun. The earning a few dollars is just an extra. In fact I just try and forget about the earnings side of things (which is really hard seeming every second person posts about it with complaints!) and respond to the discussions I'm interested in. And start a few new discussions every now and again. I don't come on every day and some days I just read and not necessarily post.
At the end of the day I don't care about the money I earn here. I'd be a member of the site regardless of any monetary gain. It's good to be a part of a new site and see the growth and the new inovations that the administrators come up with.
Just for the record, I'm a huge fan of the new 'star' rating system. Hopefully it will weed out some of the people that just cut and paste answers to a lot of posts and the 'I agree' army!
