Have you ever been bounced off Facebook?

There I was, calmly entering text on a Facebook post - as part of a Group I had recently joined - when everything stopped. I was told that I had been dropped completely from Facebook and would have to have my account reviewed. To say I am surprised would be an under-estimate! I have looked at their terms and conditions and cannot see where I could possibly have offended them. It is not a service I have used much in the past, and I only started doing so again four days ago in order to join the Group mentioned above - related to users of "Vocal". I have been through the steps needed to have my account reviewed and am now faced with a blank "Due to Covid-19 we cannot review your account at present" message whenever I try to log on - this has been the case for two days now. Has this ever happened to you? Did you ever find out why?

I would be happy to do so, but when other people set up Facebook Groups that one is interested in, being on Facebook is essential!

This never happened to me, but I find that this is weird. Are you sure that no one hacked your account?

Why would anyone bother? It is not as though I do much with it!

@indexer Because people do just for fun. I had a facebook profile hacked. I knew because I received an email that my profile was accessed from a location different from my usual location. I logged in, some photos were posted on my wall. I deleted, I changed the password and I saved the account.

Never been in Facebook jail and never been booted off the site. But then, I hardly ever go on there anymore either.

I have been told that I have violated the Community Standards, but not what exactly I have done, or which standard I have violated. Very frustrating!

@indexer Facebook is being elusive on purpose. I don't like the way they control speech at all, and I think it is high time some regulations are put in place to curb it. THAT is being said as someone who does not generally support much regulation over businesses and how they do business.

Sorry to hear this. I think it's a total exaggeration of the current situation.

That never happened to me. I think someone was being too sensitive.
