We were very close since high school until we graduated and went to college together but ever since we started working we have no time for each other I mean I started working before her and we used to spend a lot of time together and texted and I used to tell her that she must not give up because she will soon find a job and when she did she already texted me or when she does text me it is just a a and when I reply back she takes a long day before she replies so I guess we're not best friend anymore. I understand that we are getting older and we are working but still if we are best when we should not let any of that comes in the way we should be able to FaceTime each other and text but I guess time is changing so does people

I am still best friend with my best friend. Meet her during university, then she works in a different state and we start to have differences whether with work, hobby and lifestyle. She's the successful one. She and I both change a lot. But despite all that, we're still best friend. We might have differences but as long as we continue to communicate, we can make it work.

That doesn't mean you can't still be best friends. It you can call her your long time friend. Maybe her job is more taxing than yours. You can also reunite out reminding the friendship later. I had two friends from my first job that I still considering myself friends with and we don't see each other regularly anymore but I'm the busy one. I work two jobs, the other two take care of their parents but we're still all friends.

I think if you are real best friends, time and distance won't matter
