I wanted to yell obscenities

Yesterday was a nice day weatherwise, but this encouraged all the crazies to be out and about. On my walk of several blocks to the Centre, I passed NOT ONE person with their nose and mouth covered with a mask. A couple had their masks on UNDER their chin, but that doesn't do any good. One jerk said he didn't have to wear it because he was outside. If he was staying in his own yard I would concede his point, but he was walking around on the public sidewalk, closer than 6 feet to me.
Wear your fekking mask!

@amadeo people get flu shots and still get and spread the flu. Only 30% of the population are vaccinated. The plan was to wear masks until 70% were vaccinated so people thinking it's okay to not wear a mask once vaccinated to me isn't good.

I disagree. We have been duped. People are finally coming to their senses and realizing that. NOT that it was a fake thing. But the severity of it is and has been from day one. I won't expand on that, but just wanted to offer my two cents for whatever it is worth.
I refuse to be a sheep.

That`s so sad. Here people wear masks only on public transportations, shops, supermarkets, malls and buildings. I hope people there will follow the safety rules.

@shaggin I think part of the problem is we never figured out how Covid is really transmitted, and that's why the masks don't work. It was spread some other way, and we still don't know how it is/was spread.
We are just guessing. No one really knows the answer is the problem.

Even when worn properly I don't think the masks did any good. If they had we would not be talking about rising cases.
We can't have it both ways. Either the masks worked or they didn't. Clearly they didn't and they won't suddenly work now.

@BarBaraPrz The vaccine is not a magic potion, we are not even sure if it protects from the mutations and for how long.

The police here have been given the power to fine people for not wearing masks, too, but most say they won't.

I wore mine when I went out today ! Unless I was walking down a side walk where no one was around but me.
