For almost a week, I have suffered from insomnia. I don't know the real reason. It is just that my brain is so active even if it is midnight already.
I am not stressed. I mean I get stressed but not very stressed.
And it is stress with work which is normal.
Are you insomniac too?

I have a lot of trouble going to sleep or staying asleep. Sometimes, I am up most of the night. I can't shut my brain off.
Last night, I was thinking about the math papers I did not turn in to Mrs. Taylor in 6th grade. I mean, really, why does it matter anymore?
My brain wants to nag me about stuff that no one would care about. Besides that, I think about the past and future of the country, scientific stuff, etc. I just need to sleep.

Yes, and sometimes even with pills I don't get much sleep. But I find accepting that I might not sleep and not stressing about being unable to sleep is very helpful.

Oh, I've lived like that for years. My brain is my biggest enemy.
