April 18 - What I'm Thankful for Today

This is the day the Lord has made and I WILL rejoice and be GLAD in it. It has been a good day so far, and it's only half over. I'm thankful for the miracle of birth. Today is my son's 43rd birthday. I called him a short while ago and he's having a very good day. He wanted to work today. He said he delivered birthday balloons to someone, something he hoped to do on his special day. He's also had many orders. He and his girlfriend are planning a nice dinner tonight. I'm thankful for the beautiful weather. Unlike the day my son was born, today is sunny and warm. The day he was born there were tornado warnings in the Chicago area where we were living at the time. I'm thankful for spending time in church this morning. I got many hugs and enjoyed great worship and praise along with a good teaching sermon. I'm thankful for good food. I'm finishing the tuna pasta salad I made yesterday. I'll be making it like this again. It's very good. I made it with cauliflower pasta noodles, two packages of albacore tuna, a diced onion, two hard-boiled eggs, and alternative cheddar and mozzarella cheese shreds, mixed with avocado oil mayo. I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. I started a new scene. This could be the turning point for the end of the story. We'll see. It will happen. I'm still hoping to finish this month. I know this month is getting short. Other than that, I took out the garbage when I left for church this morning. It's been a very good day. I'm going to complete the notifications again, and then settle in for some TV. I'm also going to make a mug cake to celebrate my son's birthday. What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading.
