Let me start by saying I am not against any form of religion. If that's what you chose then good for you. Be the best Christian, Muslim, Sikh or whatever you can be. Lean into it and make it count. I have no beef with you. So please tell me why you have a beef with me? Why do SOME (not all) religious people have such a problem with gay people? You chose to be religious, none of us chose to be gay. But we don't go around telling you that you shouldn't exist and you don't deserve to be treated equally. You know why? Because that would be cruel, hurtful, and unnecessary. And as people who have often been persecuted and treated unfairly for something we have no control over we know what it's like to be bullied. Why do some religious people think they're better than LGBTQ+ people and that their lives are worth more? And don't tell me it's about opinion because it isn't. If it was then you would be okay with my opinion about religious bullying. You can be religious without being a complete D-bag about it.
