Insecurities, Greed, and Paranoia

I'll be damned! I've been trying my best to solve our LAND DISPUTE by all legal means and remedies possible. But HOW can this legal exercise favorably materialize if you find out your own parents and sibling are vehemently opposed to my desire to settle our land dispute vs. unscrupulous buyers for our own collective benefit.
This goes to show their gross IGNORANCE on HOW TO WIN a legal battle. I am backed by a WELL KNOWN, HIGHLY COMPETENT and WELL RESPECTED lawyer, he being a DIRECTOR of Integrated Bar of the Philippines (at my hometown). But guess what? They all decided to cancel my Special Power of Attorney to Sell. They refused to listen to reason. They can't straighten up their CROOKED minds. Now, HOW can I finance all the litigation expenses if I am no longer authorized to legally sell our real estate properties. Perhaps they are thinking I would "steal" our ancestral land properties from them. That's B____SH!T. Sorry to say!
I also took the pains of verbally explaining to EVERYONE the advantage of processing Deeds of Sale for each of their heirs while owners/parents are still alive. It would be more tedious and difficult to address inheritance issues when they pass on. I don't really understand what's on their minds. My good guess is perhaps their minds have been guided by sheer INSECURITIES, GREED and PARANOIA. Enough said.

Sorry to hear but that’s the reality of most families in this country. And without the SPA, you can’t do anything at all but rant.

Sounds like it. They don't really understand what you're asking of them. Perhaps they feel you're being a know-it-all and they see the leagal help as some kind of threat.

Oh goodness, I am so sorry and I know how you feel because I had exactly the same experience with my mother. At one time I wondered if she suffered of senile dementia and she feared that I wanted to put my hands of her money and properties.

I am having family problems too. My family thinks it's best for me to live in a small trailer with my mother instead of a bigger place with her.

Oh so that's why you haven't been posting stuff online lately. That's annoying indeed. Land disputes are the worst, it brings out the worst attitude in most people including relatives. Ugh. We also have that problem in our family and it's not nice at all. If only the elders would come to an agreement but noooo. They don't believe us even if we know better. Ah such is life. Thus I just told one of them to go to BIR and ask about estate tax and such instead. Pfffft.
Hope your (and also my) family property issues will get resolved soon.

Thank you. I don't claim to be more knowledgeable than them even though it's true. But as this is my first time to handle matters like this I always consult everything to our lawyer and other experts related to it like trusted Geodetic Engineers and high ranking officers of Assessor's.... Register of Deeds... etc. They all have the same advice so I follow them. BIR wants higher collections of course so I skip it haha
Stup1d people want me to surrender to them. Why should I.

@AkoPinay Hahaha. You can do it! It's hard to make every situation into a win-win one but if only we can do land disputes as peacefully and easily as possible that would be a dream come true.

Oh dear I am so very sorry.
I understand you completely.
This is more than unfortunate and they are very unwise not to trust you.
I had also had this happen to me in a different circumstance.
I wish you the very best.

Land disputes are messy even more if it involves inheritance issues. You're right insecurities, greed paranoia comes into the picture.
