Our House Just Had a Bubblebath

The trucks just left. We needed two water trucks to clean our house, because we have a well and the amount of water needed may have left our well dry.
Our house was cleaned from the roof down to the foundation.
They power washed our gutters, skylights, windows, and concentrated on the north side where the sun doesn’t reach.
Now my house is clean both inside and out. And the best thing is that we gave the business to a company that advertises with our younger son.

It is good to have the house cleaned like this.
Plus I have decided not to ask you about the costs!

Cool! Mine will be getting washed soon. We have to wash ours every year or so around here because of the “whiskey fungus” from the distilleries.

@DianneN — would I lie to you?

@FourWalls I believe you now. I had looked it up prior to reading your link. My jaw dropped! That’s quite a problem. If washing removes it, then so be it. Can’t close all those distilleries, heaven forbid!

My house could use a power wash. I have thought about renting a power washer before. If it doesn't cost too much though, I might just get someone to do it.

@snowy22315 Someone asked about the price. It was $372 and change for what we had done. You could use it as a reference.

Hope in the next two years, you won't face the same problem like us: leaking. We had ours done like that, and several months later, all sort of problems began. THAT went on for some years, before I took the courage to re-do the roof completely (I was told it was because of that cleaning episode.)
Cross my fingers for you (that your tradesmen were more professional. Ours were simply not good.)

@DianneN My husband wanted to have the tiles cleaned, I cannot notice a big difference, but at least he is happy now. The house cannot be pressure washed because it is covered with a special painting, that is still in perfect conditions.

That guy on your roof looks a heck of a lot more sturdy than my elderly neighbor power washing his house yesterday.
I'm sure it's good to have both the inside and outside sparkling.

@DianneN it's a good thing my elderly neighbor wasn't on the roof when that severe thunderstorm came through yesterday afternoon, He certainly would have been blown off and wound up who knows where

Sounds like a win win for your son and that company. I've never heard of power washing windows before. I hope they lowered the pressure for them and the skylight.
We clean siding but wouldn't be able to bring in a water truck. That's an interesting idea.

@DianneN I guess that's one way to clean them. We had a house we used to do that for a different company that power washed the siding and they got ticklish to the windows and ruined the vinyl frames.

@MarshaMusselman Oh, no! Our son recommended them, and they did a magnificent job. Plan on using them the next time.
