There's a radio ad extolling the virtues of buying or leasing Ontario-made Hondas (CRV & Civics) and supporting the local economy. At the end, the announcer says something like "And show some more local love by ordering in from your favorite restaurant."
Nice.

Were restaurants there open or were you all still ordering food and picking it up at the curb? Restaurants here weren't supposed to be open yet but a lot of them had started seating people inside and letting them eat there... (Pretty and I still aren't eating out yet. You never know who might have Covid. We've had the vaccine, but I still don't want to get sick.)

I think restaurants are still closed but patios opened a week or two ago.

We need to be supporting each other during this pandemic.

The businesses there seem to be still slack due to the pandemic.

I have a CR-V, but I think it was built in Ohio because it always automatically turns the Cincinnati Reds baseball game on.
Canada does well to support Canada. I know there is (or there used to be) a “content law,” where radio stations had to play a certain number of Canadian artists. With so many great Canadian artists that wouldn’t be difficult!!!

Still is, but we've got so many artists it's not hard to comply.
