Pot sticker dumplings

I would usually fry or steam the dumplings. So today I wanted to try making pot sticker dumplings. I had a pack left of chives dumplings.
I pour a bit of cooking, place the dumplings in the pan and then cook for about 2-3 minutes. Then I poured a cup of water mix with a tbsp of corn starch before quickly cover the pan. Afterwards just cook with medium heat until all water evaporate.
I tried making the dipping sauce using chili oil, honey, sesame and soy sauce. Didn't taste so good. Since I made a lot, I use the sauce for my fried chicken that I cook for tomorrow.

I like pot stickers but have only had them from a local restaurant.

I never had them tho they look very similar to wonton type things.
