Private Mortgages

Has anyone on myLot ever invested in private mortgages? If yes, how did it go? I have been thinking about investing and with banks paying very low interest, I am looking outside of traditional investing. Any investing ideas would be welcome.

Nope. Our mortage is a fixed 30-year loan. I'm okay with this.
