Is it fair to tag religion with terrorism?

Post 9/11, there is a religious bias in the western countries. The racial attacks have increased manifold. Is it a sin to be an Asian?

I don't think it is fair to assume that all people of a certain religion are all terrorist. All people are different and it isn't right to assume that because two people share a religion they share the same beliefs on everything.

Unfortunately, it has increased racism and hatred towards asians, especially muslims. Is it fair?

I think when there is any big massacre or incident there will be a backlash against innocent people. With 9/11 unfortunately arabs are getting the backlash. After WW2 Japanese and Germans were getting harrassed. It's unfortunate but will happen with anyone. Fear and distrust happen after one is shaken up.
