Exactly! People are just trying to get you to worry about this virus. Do this, do that, and you won't get the vurus. It's just stirring up fear in people. People are saying "Oh, no! I can't go out to the shop because its too dangerous! I might catch the virus!" They've instilled in people a culture of fear!

@Anusha0313 It's terrible! And they're also controlling us by telling us what we can and cannot do. I hate being told what to do at the best of times!

Rightly said that worrying is waste but sometimes we lose our mind and we will be always running behind the problem. We have to learn to control our mind first which is the way we can stop worrying.

Your discussion reminds me of the quote: "Worry is like a rocking chair: it gives you something to do but never gets you anywhere" I don't remember who said it, but I like the quote, and I remember many situations where I worried about things that never happened.

In my language the word "worry" contains within it another word "occupy". So (preocupar - ocupar), then, I usually say "don't worry, ocupy". That is, you do not achieve anything by spending hours anguished by a situation X, it is much better to act on it, than to remain torturing yourself
